Ana Feitosa was born in Rio de Janeiro/Brazil. She took her studies under professor Michel Bessler at the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro and eventually with professor Pierre Amoyal at the Academy Lausanne in Switzerland. She finished her studies in 2010 at the Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst in Frankfurt under professor Walter Forchert, taking out a Master degree of Music.
Already as a young violinist, Ana gained experience as a concertmaster: From 1999 to 2002 at the Orquestra Sinfônica Brasileira Jovem and from 2002 t0 2004 at the Orquestra Sinfônica Brasileira. Moreover, she appeared as a guest concertmaster with the Frankfurt Chamber Opera and the Frankfurt Sinfonietta.
Ana has been active as a chamber musician in a wide range of different ensembles, As a member of Trio Monte, she was awarded prizes at the International Commerzbank Competition, the Concours International Maria Canals, and the European Chamber Music Competition. On top of that, she was honoured with the Folkwang Prize of the city of Essen.
Ana has played with the Ensemble MidtVest since 2010
